One drop of blood

Healing is needed. Healing is available. Healing has been paid for.
JESUS CHRIST, there is a river of blood that flows from our Savior's side and it washes over me.
Physical, relational, emotional, financial... God cares, our LORD God is able, He wants to, He loves you for eternity. He loves us beyond this life, our Current circumstance. How much do we love our kids?  How Much More HIM, how much He Loves us! rest, surrender, humble, let your Real, Heavenly Father hold you. He is not like man.

Walk with God, let HIM minister To You.

Enlarging our alters

Clear clutter. Clear room. Thin to win. Simplify. Clean. Focus.
What if everything fails to complete, except for one thing. The one thing everthing else is contingent on. Do not make decisions until...
Do not lock in a certain perspective until... Do  not speak until....
Let us have more one on one time with God.
We must enlarge our alters, alone with God. As a family, enlarge our family alter. A place of humility and gathering...to give thanks...to WORSHIP. I heard a great Man of God recently  encourage to approach God, not with personal determination, but with humility.

Lets clear room for JESUS!
What legacy can we leave the next generation?

There is a God...waiting to bless you....waiting for...you

Prayer, our greatest source of empowerment. Triumphs all, please take time to pray for the Church! Enlarge our alters in our lives, marriages, homes, and Church family!

If we are healthy, God will do the rest

Focus on our relationship with God. Having it intimate, real, and on-going...will give fruit to healthy relationships with our family and the Body of Christ. When the root system is strong and healthy, there is naturally a healthy tree...that bears fruit and harvest.
We need not to try and grit our teeth to push harvest out of the branch. It is silly. Yet we do, giving ourselves gratification in our conscience under the billboard of religious energy.
When our relationship with God is real and healthy, and we love our neighbour as ourselves. Loving the Truth and unity! The fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as the harvest that belongs to the LORD...will happen...will happen...will happen.
LAY DOWN WORRIES, FOCUS ON JESUS CHRIST AND HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS. AS AN INDIVIDUAL, A FAMILY, A CHURCH...BELIEVE AND TEACH THE TRUTH AND UNITY. THE BLESSING, FRUIT AND HARVEST WILL BE A NATURAL BY-PRODUCT OF THOSE HEALTHY ROOTS AND TREE. WE WILL BE THAT TREE PLANTED BY THE WATER!
Read, Pray, Meditate on Psalms 1.
Rest in God, He will do the Rest.

Christian Living

24/7 true, honest, heartfelt, brave Christian living is desired...needed.
Modern Church in America can be so industrialized, so factory or club oriented.
Here is the disconnect-
Are we the temple of God?
So why would we be comfortable drinking at the bar, and not the pew?
If we wouldn't dare cuss, talk lustful about the opposite or same sex, or watch a dirty movie on the first row of a Sunday morning service...what is the comfort we feel to do those things in our backyard, living room, or hanging out with friends?
The answer is simple... we have allowed ourselves the deception and confusion of a once a week non-heartfelt concept of a God we call ours.
Today and everyday, let's walk and feel the love and stability of HIS 24/7 relationship and grace for us. The door will not be open for long. He is as real, more real than sitting on the couch with our spouse, going to coffee with our cousin, or holding the hand of a loved one.
Have peace, have a life with a Real GOD!

Tuesday DIS-connection

The world is obviously more connected than ever before, at least from a technological standpoint. From a commerce and business stand point we are very inter-connected. Information is grasped and fought for in the way that land use to be fought for. Perhaps the final frontier is not the west or even space, but information.

Our local Church has focused on five connect points.
GOD
FAMILY
CHURCH
LIFE
PURPOSE

although connection seems to be the buzz word in our culture, i wander if dis-connection is what we really need.

Sometimes life can be so busy and jobs seem so intense. Schedules and weariness has one day running into the other. So connected to so many activities...
My friend, could life be so full of good things to do... that we miss what is better than a busy schedule, even if it is full of doing good things? Dismissing reflection and meditation on GOD'S WORD as wonderful to do if we only had the time.
Although we connect through social media, through text, and we rush around in the same house or function together... does that mean we are really connected?  Even if we all properly connected to many of the people and places of our life in a solid way...is that still the optimal thing to do?
They taught me in business school that there was one level higher than maximizing something... and that is optimizing something. 
Today i encourage you to look beyond maximizing your schedules and the connections you have to those around you...

Today optimize by DIS-CONNECTING, find a quiet place, connect with GOD. A TO DO LIST AND AN UPDATE ON FACEBOOK IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS PEACE IN YOUR HEARTS.
TODAY, LET THE PEACE OF GOD RULE YOUR HEART.  DIS-CONNECT FROM THE PRESSURES AND EXPECTATIONS OF THOSE AROUND YOU.
BE ALONE WITH GOD, DRINK SOME COFFEE WITH YOUR SPOUSE, PLAY A BOARD GAME WITH YOUR FAMILY, PLAY TAG WITH YOUR DAUGHTER OR PLAY CATCH WITH YOUR SON.
1 LIFE TO LIVE, WHAT ARE WE CONNECTING OURSELVES TO?
TODAY, DISCONNECT.
OPTIMIZE THE THINGS THAT YOU DO DO. WHAT WILL REALLY MATTER AT THE END OF OUR JOURNEY HERE?
IN ETERNITY?
WHAT ARE OUR LASTING IMPRESSIONS?

A little low

I suppose many, if not all of us, feel low at times.
I typically let the gas go down in our car, fill it up close to half way, and keep going.  I figure its cheaper, quicker, and causes one more thing to do on our to-do list in 2 days...
However, I have heard that cars get better gas mileage on the top tank of gas. I also admit the rest, confidence, and overall satisfaction i have felt when we have filled it all the way up.

We humans, we disciples of the LORD JESUS! could learn something from this. We often allow ourselves to get stripped of our virtue and on "E"
We get so low, we feel that one drip of gasoline sends us back on a racetrack.  We get so spiritually mal-nourished. We then get one drop of water, we think we will conquer the world, then 1 trial sends us back to "E"
We think we are sinning, if we are not anxiously looking busy...
If i don't eat and i keep running i get cranky and get a headache.. while some of us only eat spiritually on Sunday, of course blocking out the food groups we do not like-
Then we wonder why our Spiritual man is weak and we always continue and live like we are on a loopy loop ride, ALWAYS
fluxuating between "E" and a fourth of a tank...
God's virtue is precious.  We MUST eat daily the BIBLE. He is determined that we live in a state of overflow, fulfilled IN HIS PRESENCE!

IMMEDIATE ACTION: GET AWAY FROM YOUR CELL, RELAX WITH YOUR FAMILY, AND READ THE BIBLE.TAKE SOME TIME TO GET YOUR TANK FULL.

Perspectives

Our persepective of God affects everything in our lives.
Our "do" or our purpose in action is the offspring of our identity.
How we see God viewing us is very important. You are the apple of GOD's eye!
Often we should soberly, away from the intoxication of our busy lives, look to JESUS.  Hungering to have a clear perception.
We do not like the idea of the concepts of "doctrine" and "holiness" in 2011, yet we are all longing for it.
Many of us feel like our lives are swamps and marshes, and we really want free-flowing rivers. Water without banks produce a marshland. Our brains feel like mush, we live in confusion, and the devil is stealing from us true consistent peace and the full actualization of Divine purpose.
We must desire a clear persective of God and His Holy Word. If we are unsure of foundational clear concepts in GOD'S word, it will bring lack of true clarity in who we are and what we do.
Our lives will be played as a tennis ball in a game of tennis.
We need to draw a line, search the Scriptures, and humbly live out our convictions.
If Christianity and our fundamental Scriptural understanding is only a preference, we will miss it.
THIS IS NOT A PREFERENCE,
THIS IS CONVICTION.
that is the difference. Do not be wish, washy on what you believe in. Search the Holy Scriptures, Hunger and thirst for Him and real unchanging Truth.  Be a Woman or Man of conviction!
... not preference, blowing in the wind.
If you are not willing to die for it, be scorned, or lose money or peer approval for it... my friend
as children of God we will never feel right in our true God given identity, rights, priveleages, and purpose... when our persepective of God and foundational Scriptural understanding is always gray.

IMMEDIATE ACTION: GET AWAY WITH GOD'S LOVE LETTER, HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF FOUNDATIONAL DOCTRINE, OF WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN.

RIGHT DOWN SCRIPTURES ON THE IDENTITY OF GOD, THE PLAN OF SALVATION- BELIEVING AND OBEYING THE GOSPEL, AND HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF CHARACTER.

CLEARLY UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE AND DOCTRINE, WILL FLOW INTO CLARITY IN YOUR PERSONAL IDENTITY, WHICH WILL FLOW INTO KNOWING CLEARLY YOUR PURPOSE.

WHEN DID GOD BECOME A SODA MACHINE?!

The reality of one's relationship with the Almighty God needs to be evaluated from time to time. It seems, especially in our American culture, we go to God for a particular thing with 10 cents in our hand... then we walk away. Usually scarfing down the drink, half the time idealizing what the other type of soda would have tasted like.

How real is God to us?

So much clutter, so much factory/business approach with God...will if I do this thing, maybe God will do something for me..

WHAT???
Is that everything JESUS shed His blood for and died for?
So we could ask God for a vending machine gift and have a relationship with a factory process?
Do we refer sometimes to a JESUS we created in our own minds?

Today, journey. Walk. Think. Really think...
How real is our relationship with the LORD?
Is it real enough to sit across from seemingly an invisible chair and have coffee with Him.  When was the last time, without a cell or wireless devices, did you go out for an afternoon with
JESUS?

THIS WEEKS IMMEDIATE ACTION:
CLEAR SOME CLUTTER AND SPEND SOMETIME WITH JESUS. An actual dialogue, a conversation.
